CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENCE IN ANCIENT EGYPT

The exhibition traces the daily lives of young ancient Egyptians, with a display of more than 190 pieces from national and international collections in the Vimcorsa Room, accompanied by an immersive audiovisual experience in the Orive Room.

ALONG THE NILE WITH DAVID ROBERTS

This exhibition showcases the work of Scottish artist David Roberts through his on-site drawings of Egyptian monuments, made in the 1830s.

SOULFUL CREATURES: ANIMAL MUMMIES IN ANCIENT EGYPT

In a travelling exhibition of 30 mummies drawn from the collection of the Brooklyn Museum, the displays showcase 69 ancient Egyptian artefacts that relate to the ritual use of animal mummies.

RAMSES AND THE PHARAOH’S GOLD

This international touring exhibition focuses on the life and reign of Ramesses II, with 180 ancient artefacts (including statues, coffins, and gold jewellery) on loan from Egypt, and a virtual-reality experience.

ANCIENT EGYPT IN WATERCOLORS: PAINTINGS AND ARTIFACTS FROM DRA ABU EL-NAGA

Penn Museum is showing watercolours of the elaborately decorated New Kingdom tomb chapels in Dra Abu el-Naga, painted over 100 years ago by Egyptian artist Ahmed Yousef. It is the first time the paintings have been on public display since 1920.
