• Following two years of work, the restoration of the columns of the Hypostyle Hall at Karnak has now been completed.

The beautiful colours of the columns in the Hypostyle Hall at Karnak can now be seen, following two years of restoration work. 

• The newly renovated Imhotep Museum at Saqqara has reopened, with more than 300 artefacts on display in six halls.

• Ongoing upgrades to tourist sites in Egypt continue with a new visitors’ entrance to the Temple of Kom Ombo in Aswan Province, and the installation of self-service cashless ticket machines at sites with high numbers of tourists.
