DISCOVERING ANCIENT EGYPT
After five years as a travelling exhibition, visiting Japan, South Korea, and Australia, the RMO’s exhibition returns to the Netherlands. It explores the life, religion, and culture of the ancient Egyptians through nearly 500 objects, including golden funerary items from the tomb of general Djehuty, which have been reunited for the first time in 200 years.

EGYPT ETERNAL: 4,000 YEARS OF FASCINATION
Egypt Eternal is new exhibition that showcases the museum’s Egyptology collection, parts of which are on display for the first time. Many items have now been scanned to create digital 3D models. Artefacts include the mummy case of Padimut (which can now be viewed through 360°) and an augmented reality experience for the Dream Stela of Thutmose IV.

SECRETS OF THE SUNKEN CITY
After travelling the world, this temporary exhibition returns to Egypt with 86 artefacts from the excavations of Thonis-Heracleion, Canopus, and the eastern port of ancient Alexandria. Objects illustrate daily and military life, religious rites, and art of the Ptolemaic and Roman Periods.

DIVINE EGYPT
This new exhibition explores the imagery associated with the most important deities of ancient Egypt, and how the kings and people recognised and interacted with their gods. It includes almost 250 artefacts, many of which are on loan from museums across Europe and the USA.

TUTANKHAMUN – HIS TOMB AND HIS TREASURES
The world-travelling exhibition arrives in Slovakia with more than 1,000 replicas of objects found in Tutankhamun’s tomb, plus a new immersive exhibition using augmented reality technology to explore Egypt’s ancient gods and sacred rituals.
