• The Open Air Museum at Karnak (above) has been refurbished with new tiled walkways, information signs, and wooden benches to make the area more accessible, and a number of artefacts are now on display for the first time.
• A new permanent exhibition of wall paintings (below) from Amenhotep III’s Wadi Sebua temple has opened at the Egyptian Museum, Cairo, the results of a project with Munich University and the Roemer- und Pelizaeus-Museum in Hildesheim.
