THE MYSTERY OF CLEOPATRA

The legend of Cleopatra and her depictions in art over the centuries is explored through archaeological finds, paintings, sculptures, and works of contemporary art. Highlights include the peacock headpiece worn by Sarah Bernhard in Sardou’s play Cleopatra and Jean-André Rixens’ painting The Death of Cleopatra.

MADE IN EGYPT

An exhibition that explores ancient Egypt through the lives and work of its craftspeople, bringing together a wide range of artefacts, including jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, and a soul house bearing a recently discovered handprint.

ANCIENT EGYPT UNVEILED 

This exhibition of 250 artefacts from seven major Egyptian museums explores ancient Egypt’s pharaonic civilisation. Highlights include wood and bronze statuettes of gods, a cat mummy, and colossal statues of Akhenaten and Tutankhaun.

TREASURES OF THE PHARAOHS

An exhibition of 130 masterpieces from museums across Egypt, Treasures of the Pharaohs explores the long history of ancient Egypt. Six themed sections cover pharaohs, society, daily life, religious beliefs, funerary practices, and recent archaeological discoveries. Artefacts on display include statues, coffins, royal jewellery, and finely crafted everyday objects.
