EGYPT: JOURNEY TO IMMORTALITY
An exhibition telling the story of the journey to the afterlife through 110 masterpieces from the Egyptian Museum of Florence (National Museum of Archaeology). Highlights include the mummy and sarcophagus of Padimut, a ‘pseudo-mummy’ of a newborn now revealed to be a falcon, wooden and bronze sculptures of kings and gods, amulets, canopic chests, and gold jewellery.

DISCOVERING ANCIENT EGYPT
A touring exhibition featuring artefacts from the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden (Leiden) exploring the culture, daily life, and beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. Highlights include a 3D light projection of the Temple of Taffeh, sculptures, jewellery, and rare examples of Book of the Dead scrolls.

MEET ANCIENT EGYPT: MUMMY, LIFE AND DEATH IN ANCIENT EGYPT
This travelling exhibition moves from Chengdu to Beijing, presenting the unique perspectives of the ancient Egyptians on death and the afterlife, art, religion, and social life. On display are more than 120 artefacts from the University of Aberdeen’s Egyptology collection, including seven mummies, jewellery, amulets, and elaborate burial items.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE COLLECTION OF JAMES ROBERTS OGDEN
A special exhibition celebrating the life and collection of James Roberts Ogden (1866-1940), a renowned Harrogate jeweller with an expertise in ancient metals, who travelled extensively to Egypt and the Middle East. The exhibition features 50 artefacts from his collection, on loan from Harrogate Museums.

CHICAGO ON THE NILE: 100 YEARS OF THE EPIGRAPHIC SURVEY IN EGYPT
