As we were going to press, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery of three new tombs in Dra‘ Abu el-Naga on the West Bank of Luxor. Dating to the New Kingdom, the three tombs, each with a courtyard, belong to high-ranking officials: Amenemipet, a priest of Amen during the Ramesside Period; Baki, a supervisor of grain silos in the early Eighteenth Dynasty; and Es, who was supervisor of the Temple of Amun in the oases, also in the Eighteenth Dynasty.
