This new 3D, immersive, and interactive experience of ancient Egypt recreates scenes of royal tombs including those of Ramesses IV, Sety I, Tutankhamun, and Nefertari, featuring more than 300 museum-grade replicas.

THE POWER OF WORDS: DOMINATION AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN ANCIENT EGYPT

A special exhibition of papyri, highlighting the multiple languages spoken in Egypt in antiquity, from Egyptian and Greek to Coptic and Arabic, reveals the dynamic exchange between these linguistic and cultural groups.

ON PATHS UNTRODDEN: GEORG SCHWEINFURTH AND HIS SIGNIFICANCE FOR THE COLLECTIONS OF THE STAATLICHE MUSEEN ZU BERLIN

The Ägyptische Museum und Papyrussammlung organised this special exhibition to mark the centenary of the death of Georg Schweinfurth – renowned explorer, botanist, and pioneer of Egyptology. The displays include stone tools, flower and plant wreaths, and textiles.

UNRAVELING THE MYSTERIES OF ANCIENT EGYPT FROM BROOKLYN MUSEUM

This selection of 150 masterpieces from the Brooklyn Museum’s ancient Egyptian collection includes sculpture, coffins, jewellery, pottery, papyri, and human and cat mummies.

TUTANKHAMUN: HIS TOMB AND HIS TREASURES

The touring exhibition Tutankhamun shows more than 1,000 replicas of objects found in the pharaoh’s tomb, giving visitors the opportunity to experience it exactly as it was found.

SOULFUL CREATURES: ANIMAL MUMMIES IN ANCIENT EGYPT

Focusing on the mummification of animals, Soulful Creatures gathers 30 mummies from the Brooklyn Museum collections, and 69 ancient Egyptian artefacts related to their ritual use. The displays offer dynamic presentations of the origins, techniques, and rituals of this practice, and of recent scientific tests that have uncovered key information about the methods used to create animal mummies.
