Brave specialists have once again taken to the skies to clean aircraft at the RAF Museum in Cosford ahead of its reopening on 17 May.
The annual high-level cleaning took place at the end of April and was conducted by specialists from ArcoServices. The team also carried out various safety checks on the suspension cables which keep the aircraft in ‘flight’.
The specialists focused on eight suspended aircraft from the Museum’s National Cold War Exhibition at Cosford. In line with government restrictions, the entire museum has been closed since the winter but will reopen later this month.
Team members wore Go Pro cameras to capture the unique views of the aircraft and hangers from a high level.
